The Davis Vantage Pro 2 6163EU weather station comes with: The ISS is equipped with a UV sensor to measure the UV index and a pyranometer to measure solar radiation and evapotranspiration (used in agriculture). The wind vane - anemometer can be detached from the ISS and installed on a roof, for example, with its 12-metre cable. The rain gauge is equipped with a tipping bucket system ( single bucket system) for measuring precipitation and bird spikes.

The active ventilation allows a better accuracy of the outdoor temperature and humidity measurements 24 hours a day. A dual sensor for measuring outdoor temperature and humidity is placed in a standardised radiation shelter with 24-hour active ventilation.

The sensor suite (ISS) is very robust and can be mounted on a mast (tube) or on a wooden pole. It is also possible to set alarms and to connect the console to a computer (with the WeatherLink interface not supplied). The console allows you to view the weather conditions in real time, the extremes (maximum and minimum), the graphs corresponding to the different variables. The console is equipped with a large backlit LCD display and can be mounted on a wall or placed on a table or shelf. The link between the outdoor sensors (ISS) and the console is via radio waves on the frequency 868.0 - 868.6 MHz with a range of 300 metres at sight.
